Bio

Venla Tammisalo works as a researcher at the REAL Research Centre. She is involved in the TAR project, which investigates the impact of the state's needs-based funding on educational equity and equality in early childhood education, pre-primary and primary education.

Venla graduated with a Master's degree in Education in 2021 and started her doctoral studies at the Tampere University in 2022. In her PhD, she examines the wellbeing of early childhood education professionals who work in natural environments.
