Bio
Milja Saarnio is a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University. Milja graduated as a classroom teacher in summer 2020 and started her PhD studies in August 2021. Before the doctoral researcher's employment relationship, she coordinated research projects and was responsible for their data protection issues.
In her dissertation, she examines how teachers' feedback supports the learning and attitudes of pupils with different attitudes. She is also interested in primary schools more generally, in the transversal competences taught there, and in changing trends in learning outcomes nationwide.
