Ninja Hienonen works as a researcher at the University of Helsinki and as a project manager at the Tampere University. Ninja is interested in how different levels of educational system, such as school and class, are related to students’ cognitive and non-cognitive outcomes. Recently, Ninja has been focusing on class size, class composition and the placement effects of students with special educational needs. She is also interested in the application of quantitative methods in educational research.
