Milja Saarnio works as a project coordinator at Tampere University in the “Assessing and enhancing transversal competences in formal and informal learning environments” (REAL) and “Cross-curricular learning in general upper secondary school” projects. She graduated as a classroom teacher in the summer of 2020 and now dreams to pursue doctoral studies. Milja is interested in classroom assessment of transversal skills and learning to learn. She is particularly interested in how one can and should evaluate goals that are intrinsically related to a learner’s belief system.
